Onur-Recep Kıvrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's attentive Diego Bradley managed to snatch the ball when Radu Stegaru made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of play. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie and right to Monty Rogers. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Diego Bradley hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Monty Rogers put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. 39 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Florentino Greatwich kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Lanczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikayıl Malişov took the corner. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur-Recep Kıvrak having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 57th minute of play. USA's Monty Rogers got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Deng Jie Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 79th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Sam Campbell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. Sam Campbell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 90 minutes into the match, Deng Jie Wei notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
