Miroslaw Karwowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. The KS Zryw Rybitwy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikolaj Hoffman made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Rafal Paprotny in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafal Paprotny. That made the score 0-11 after 94 minutes of play. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Zryw Rybitwy throughout the match.
