A collision led to Oddspredator.com getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Apostolis Maimakis hit a great ball. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute Pipis Barbikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Oddspredator.com's Ntinos Koutris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Pipis Barbikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charis Paparigopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Koutris in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pipis Barbikas to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charis Paparigopoulos saved Oddspredator.com from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ntinos Koutris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oddspredator.com's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Koutris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charis Paparigopoulos was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Pipis Barbikas took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Charis Paparigopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 65th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oddspredator.com's Giorgos Vangelis got a free kick in the 68th minute. Charis Paparigopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Barbikas in the 71st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charis Paparigopoulos was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 80th minute Pipis Barbikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
