After 25 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Oscar Quinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Abdurrezzak Tankut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Thomas to maneuver through the defense. When Zacarias Thomas fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Oscar Quinto came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute of the game Andres Arnalt made a throw-in which Feliciano Roland played forward. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Florencio Veronica got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, Moises Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Quinto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Quinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Cipriano Illan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the game Andres Arnalt made a throw-in which Feliciano Roland played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Andres Arnalt in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. In the 77th minute, Abdurrezzak Tankut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Oscar Quinto in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Cipriano Illan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Oscar Quinto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 91st match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Veronica to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Barcelona were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
