Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Matthew Tielve hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Ilie Crainic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When BlueLionesse's Sebastian Mailat in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Isărescu in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihail Albu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 47th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Nicodim made a kick off. In the 51st minute Cristinel Nicodim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cristinel Nicodim sent off a good shot on target. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Cristinel Nicodim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristinel Nicodim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save.
