Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Marino Malet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Velasco Rollan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Marino Malet took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedad Anónima's Velasco Rollan. But to his dismay, Velasco Rollan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velasco Rollan in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's Velasco Rollan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Velasco Rollan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velasco Rollan in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. Velasco Rollan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niva Bruna walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Velasco Rollan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Gianluigi Buffon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 40 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The referee gave Sociedad Anónima a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niva Bruna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 0-4. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 58th minute of play forced Sociedad Anónima's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Velasco Rollan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Velasco Rollan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marino Malet in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Velasco Rollan took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute Velasco Rollan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70thth minute of the game Velasco Rollan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sociedad Anónima's Felix Larren was substituted for Marino Malet. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Velasco Rollan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sociedad Anónima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velasco Rollan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sengrat Nazario hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Velasco Rollan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Velasco Rollan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Sociedad Anónima's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
