An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 12th minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Veysel Akçay got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jax Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mikayıl Malişov who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mikayıl Malişov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jax Williamson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessio Romagnoli's late challenge caught a Canada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessio Romagnoli helped the player get up and apologised. Alessio Romagnoli kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Benedykt Lanczak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Canada's Jax Williamson. Jax Williamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Benedykt Lanczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koby Wright in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Onur-Recep Kıvrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Carter George managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jan Dixon sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedykt Lanczak in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jax Williamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Richard Mccarthy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benedykt Lanczak made the kick off in the second half. Onur-Recep Kıvrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koby Wright went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Lanczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Deng Jie Wei replaced Benedykt Lanczak. Canada made a substitution. Filip Edwards replaced Koby Wright. In the 71st match minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Greatwich to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Florentino Greatwich hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Filip Edwards who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Regan Jordan in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Harun Siraceddin. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
