Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrzej Wysocki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Andrzej Wysocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced Niwnice's goalkeeper Andrzej Wysocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Niwnice getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lech Owsiak hit a great ball. Andrzej Wysocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Andrzej Wysocki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Niwnice got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Guedes. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Witomir Borcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Witomir Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niwnice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Borcz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witomir Borcz in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Borcz in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Fronczak hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Borcz made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Niwnice's Andrzej Wysocki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Niwnice from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witomir Borcz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Borcz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Niwnice's Andrzej Wysocki got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Witomir Borcz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Borcz came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Witomir Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Niwnice's goalkeeper Andrzej Wysocki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Andrzej Wysocki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. The supporters of Niwnice booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Witomir Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
