In the 4th minute, Kevin Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 7th minute of the match, Nihat Ilıca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Nihat Ilıca took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ceferino Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. If Nihat Ilıca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Nihat Ilıca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-1. Nihat Ilıca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 23rd minute KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS were awarded a corner. Glenn Houghton went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Ceferino Gorri getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 25 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Nizam Şafak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Nihat Ilıca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Korcan Eronat hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nihat Ilıca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nihat Ilıca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nizam Şafak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Abelardo Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Perutxo couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Nihat Ilıca came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nihat Ilıca to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Şafak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Nizam Şafak got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nihat Ilıca took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nihat Ilıca in the 64th minute of play. In the 76th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Şafak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Secada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
