Alex Chicote made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tomas Illescas immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, 9 de Diciembre's Amado Lider got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Carrizo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Osasun got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, 9 de Diciembre's Tomasz Huchro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Huchro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Tomasz Huchro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Anier Eron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. Tomasz Huchro might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Huchro ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomasz Huchro in the 84th minute of the match. Amadeo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Tomasz Huchro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Huchro came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, 9 de Diciembre's Tomasz Huchro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 9 de Diciembre had won after a very even match.
