After 3 minutes, Svatomír Krajíček mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pardubice Hurricanes and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Přemek Ouředník didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Přemek Ouředník took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pardubice Hurricanes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Přemek Ouředník in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's Svatomír Krajíček sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Přemek Ouředník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Přemek Ouředník having to interfere. Přemek Ouředník made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute. Přemek Ouředník was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. 73 minutes into the match, Pardubice Hurricanes's goalkeeper Přemek Ouředník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After having played for 75 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Přemek Ouředník having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Přemek Ouředník was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 86 minutes Pardubice Hurricanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Jakub Molnár kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to Pardubice Hurricanes getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Radoslav Plašil hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Přemek Ouředník in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
