If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. Su Xu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Søren Kvols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Søren Kvols having to interfere. Darkwing Ducks's Søren Kvols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. When Ulrik Haxby fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darkwing Ducks's protests and gave Ulrik Haxby a yellow card for diving instead. Ulrik Haxby hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ulrik Haxby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Søren Kvols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Darkwing Ducks booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Su Xu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Su Xu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Su Xu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Su Xu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Søren Kvols. Darkwing Ducks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Søren Kvols in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Søren Kvols breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Søren Kvols made a huge save. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Darkwing Ducks's Pierre Lyngdal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Søren Kvols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Darkwing Ducks's Roberto-Carlos da Silva got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Darkwing Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Lyngdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Hare kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
