Black Cold took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Alves. Honorato Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Ninjas FK booed when SC Angrense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Cold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Carlos Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Angrense's goalkeeper Honorato Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's Black Cold sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Black Cold scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Meireles to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Black Cold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Black Cold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Meireles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. SC Angrense's Teobaldo Artizar was substituted for Erubiel Chorche. Manuel Leme made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emiliano Cordarrell immediately put the ball in play. A sloppy throw-in by Teobaldo Artizar in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ninjas FK's Nils-Emil Finman. Honorato Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Black Cold in the 81st minute of play. Honorato Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 85th minute of the match. Ninjas FK's Black Cold got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Black Cold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes SC Angrense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nils-Emil Finman who took care of the corner kick. The SC Angrense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ninjas FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Ninjas FK.
