But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Stephen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Stephen in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Leme saved Jardim Botânico from getting behind. Jacinto Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel França in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Herminio Stephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Leme. Jardim Botânico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Stephen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 23rd minute, Herminio Stephen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ademar Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 27 minutes into the match, Herminio Stephen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ademar Leme. After a defensive mix-up in Jardim Botânico's zone, Herminio Stephen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademar Leme came out of the goal and Herminio Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Stephen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademar Leme came out and tried to block the shot, but Herminio Stephen slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Jardim Botânico's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herminio Stephen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Herminio Stephen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ademar Leme came out and tried to block the shot, but Herminio Stephen slotted it home off the left post making it 9-0 in the 48th minute. Olds School Pepo made a substitution. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Stephen made a kick off. One of Jardim Botânico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olds School Pepo:s goal. Geovânio Dracena placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 66 minutes into the game, Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ademar Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Herminio Stephen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Herminio Stephen put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ademar Leme. Gonçalo Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cipriano Ledesma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ademar Leme having to make a save. In the 78th minute Cipriano Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 78th minute of the match Noel França completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
