The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Whity Pool United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Kaczanek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Carlos Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Melani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vlastaras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Manuel Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Chorche took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Melani. Angelo Melani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Syd Ely could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Honorato Alves made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charis Vlastaras to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorato Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Syd Ely in the 51st minute of the match. Daniel Jenkins made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Syd Ely. With an all-out effort, SC Angrense's Angelo Melani threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erubiel Chorche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 64 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Mladen Kertov. 66 minutes into the match, Erubiel Chorche notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Whity Pool United's Angelo Melani. Angelo Melani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelo Melani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Chorche, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Saúl Cavaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pete Sutcliffe made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Angrense's Mladen Kertov. The Whity Pool United fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Whity Pool United's Charis Vlastaras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
