An unexpectedly hard shot by Black Cold in the 7th minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Jacinto Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stor Stad couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Olds School Pepo got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Pagomari. Jacinto Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Black Cold in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Olds School Pepo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. If Black Cold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nils-Emil Finman hit a great ball. Ninjas FK's Gösta Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Stephen in the 47th minute of play. The Ninjas FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olds School Pepo were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Stephen was the one to do the kick off. The Olds School Pepo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olds School Pepo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
