Mladen Kertov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Olds School Pepo fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 7 minutes into the game, Olds School Pepo's Herminio Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Herminio Stephen scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorato Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanafi Indonesianus in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to SC Angrense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mladen Kertov hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Saúl Cavaco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Angrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olds School Pepo the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of SC Angrense:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olds School Pepo:s goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Angrense's goalkeeper Honorato Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Olds School Pepo were awarded a corner. Luis Gumaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Olds School Pepo's Luis Gumaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorato Alves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Stephen in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Geovânio Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Herminio Stephen struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Honorato Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olds School Pepo.

If Carlos Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Gervaso, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Honorato Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Olds School Pepo were awarded a corner. Luis Gumaro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 70th minute, Olds School Pepo's Juan Gervaso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorato Alves. Honorato Alves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. SC Angrense made a substitution. Teobaldo Artizar replaced Erubiel Chorche. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save SC Angrense from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Carlos Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SC Angrense's Honorato Alves got control of the ball when José Serrizuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tzeko Kotlarski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Luis Gumaro from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Honorato Alves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jacinto Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. José Serrizuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Honorato Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Meireles in the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes Olds School Pepo got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Pazura. 1-6 became the score in the 99th minute when Teobaldo Artizar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olds School Pepo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
