The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Aero Björndalen got a corner. Galaxy Team U18's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig-Åke Pihlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Stig-Åke Pihlberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lucjan Gierlach quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 6th match minute, Galaxy Team U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Gmoch to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Magnusson made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galaxy Team U18's Zbyszek Gmoch. Andy Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Wolicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Stig Wästerberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Galaxy Team U18 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Damian Malewicki hit a great ball. Kazimierz Lichucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andy Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's Kazimierz Lichucki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Petersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zbyszek Gmoch kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Kazimierz Lichucki took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Andy Petersson to make any attempt to save it. 32 minutes into the game, one of Aero Björndalen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aero Björndalen:s Andy Petersson showed great skill when he stopped Robert Przybyciel:s penalty. After having played for 36 minutes, Damian Malewicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Malewicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Malewicki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimierz Lichucki in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andy Petersson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Aero Björndalen's Ralf Magnusson got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's Robert Przybyciel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Petersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ralf Magnusson's late challenge caught a Galaxy Team U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Magnusson helped the player get up and apologised. Ralf Magnusson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Kazimierz Lichucki made a precise shot to the right of Andy Petersson. Aero Björndalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Wästerberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kazimierz Lichucki scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Petersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Lichucki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andy Petersson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th match minute, Aero Björndalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Wästerberg to maneuver through the defense. Andy Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jacek Witek hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Lichucki took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andy Petersson. Andy Petersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Galaxy Team U18 were furious when Wlodzimierz Mondrowski was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Galaxy Team U18 getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Mondrowski hit a great ball. Lucjan Gierlach was a little too slow when Tommy Lövskog got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 5-1.
