The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Almeida in the 5th minute of play forced Halcon Sport 69's goalkeeper Tabby Leceta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Halcon Sport 69 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Guillerme Guereña hit a great ball. Anderson Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tabby Leceta having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ofelio Borizar. Ademar Leme made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ofelio Borizar sent off a good shot on target. Jardim Botânico's Ademar Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Jardim Botânico from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Jardim Botânico got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Valle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gillermo Serrano in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ademar Leme saved Jardim Botânico from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Halcon Sport 69's goal looked a bit too open when Noel França came free, but Tabby Leceta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gillermo Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ademar Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademar Leme made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ofelio Borizar sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tabby Leceta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Boniel Tama kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ademar Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gillermo Serrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Guillerme Guereña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halcon Sport 69's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jardim Botânico the free kick. Guillerme Guereña hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Anderson Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardim Botânico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gillermo Serrano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gillermo Serrano in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Gillermo Serrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Jardim Botânico defense, Gillermo Serrano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Leme. The Jardim Botânico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Leme should have stopped the shot. Ademar Leme came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Halcon Sport 69's Ofelio Borizar. But to his dismay, Ofelio Borizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 90 minutes into the game, Chorache Boreyta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halcon Sport 69's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jardim Botânico the free kick. Chorache Boreyta kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Vladimir Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Jardim Botânico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Almeida couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gillermo Serrano in the 96th minute of play forced Jardim Botânico's goalkeeper Ademar Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
