Real Cruzeiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Debowy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAIDAGOGOS's goalkeeper Leon Ciszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Debowy in the 28th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Ivo Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luís Guilherme Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Real Cruzeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. Zbigniew Smolarek kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ulryk Lerych's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivo Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Lode got free with Ivo Amaral in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeusz Rzentkowski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Ivo Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Lode. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PAIDAGOGOS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
