The audience thought a goal was coming when Minko Tzintzarski got free with Amancio Urtats in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amancio Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minko Tzintzarski in the 14th minute of play. Stanoy Golomehovs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Amancio Urtats to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Minko Tzintzarski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Вежен fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minko Tzintzarski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Вежен's Anko Katincharov got a free kick in the 20th minute. Yordan Prashtilski hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Savier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mito Smilevski having to interfere. Amancio Urtats came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Вежен's Minko Tzintzarski. But to his dismay, Minko Tzintzarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 35th minute, Ismael Musko made a precise shot to the right of Mito Smilevski. Вежен's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats got control of the ball when Stanoy Golomehov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 39 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Ekhi. Eleuterio Savier struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mito Smilevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Retorno de Palermo. Amancio Urtats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Minko Tzintzarski in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The corner ended in Anko Katincharov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats did a great save. If Bocho Gunchev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Minko Tzintzarski sped through El Retorno de Palermo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amancio Urtats. After having played for 67 minutes, Stanoy Golomehov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Вежен's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanoy Golomehov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Вежен's Minko Tzintzarski in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 76th minute Victor Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mito Smilevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Alonso's late challenge caught a Вежен's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. Carolo Alonso hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Minko Tzintzarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bocho Gunchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Amancio Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Retorno de Palermo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
