The supporters of Real Cruzeiro FC booed when Slower Lower FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Henderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ezra Griggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natã Madureira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Scruggs in the 16th minute. Natã Madureira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adalberto Numbers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Real Cruzeiro FC's Natã Madureira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Yeats in the 20th minute of play. Ezra Griggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Nazário De Lima in the 43rd minute of play. Endrick De Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Ezra Griggs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonçalo Sarmento. In the 59th minute, Luís Guilherme Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Slower Lower FC's Ezra Griggs got control of the ball when Gonçalo Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerome Middleton during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slower Lower FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jerome Middleton hit a great ball. Real Cruzeiro FC's Endrick De Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Slower Lower FC's zone, Gonçalo Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezra Griggs came out of the goal and Gonçalo Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Nazário De Lima came free, but Ezra Griggs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endrick De Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ezra Griggs having to make a save. Natã Madureira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacob Scruggs went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ronaldo Nazário De Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ezra Griggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Sarmento struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ezra Griggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Cruzeiro FC. In the 88th minute, Ronaldo Nazário De Lima fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gonçalo Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ezra Griggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Nazário De Lima. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Slower Lower FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Real Cruzeiro FC for much of the match.
