Natã Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Rego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gonçalo Sarmento put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isac Gusmão. After 24 played minutes Real Cruzeiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Cabral. After a rather tough play, SC Angrense's Teodoro Durães got a free kick in the 29th minute. Teodoro Durães's late challenge caught a Real Cruzeiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
