When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Musko made a kick off. Iwan Dobrzechowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Urtats having to interfere. Ave Silesia's Ryszard Dubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Anaya in the 57th minute of play.
