Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Vennersten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Casaus went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 6th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Karl-Oskar Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 9th minute of play forced Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 10th minute of play. William Vennersten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Francisco Carballar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten did a great save. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 19th minute of the match. Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of William Vennersten. Honkens Bengaler BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 27th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Ziemniak made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jon Hökqvist however managed to control. In the 33rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Vennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Pedro Indiano made a precise shot to the right of William Vennersten. Honkens Bengaler BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Guillermo Fontirroig was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 44 minutes into the match, Honkens Bengaler BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but William Vennersten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Witkowski in the 45th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Honkens Bengaler BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Oskar Carlsson to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Tingelholm in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Honkens Bengaler BK were awarded a corner. Jiang Zhen Chuan went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Fred Stigsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. William Vennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but William Vennersten made a huge save. With a little luck, Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 minutes, Karl-Oskar Carlsson made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honkens Bengaler BK made a substitution. Wladyslaw Ewertowski replaced Jacek Ziemniak. After having played for 85 minutes, Jon Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honkens Bengaler BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Hökqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Fred Stigsson notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute Karl-Oskar Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Vennersten having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
