Romon Oliver hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Gjessing came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Jamaall Padmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finlay Stair received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christer Waaler came out and tried to block the shot, but Finlay Stair slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romon Oliver in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Rune Gjessing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Romon Oliver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åsnes the free kick. John-Einar Bøen charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John-Einar Bøen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Sandersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Morten Hestad made a kick off. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Rune Gjessing scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 2-2. 56 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Gjessing. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Morten Hestad sent off a good shot on target. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Ødegaard in the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Morten Hestad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 2-3 in the 66 minute of play. Kenneth Leidland was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Kenneth Leidland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Finlay Stair sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Waaler skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Rune Gjessing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson.
