Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off. Moises Fernandino charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Fernandino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Guguh Saepuloh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliya Tabachnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jamar Vang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Eliya Tabachnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. 袁昂宁 scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Matheus Toscano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliya Tabachnik in the 38th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Yepes to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Yefet Bar-Zohar managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Yefet Bar-Zohar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The throw-in from Yehoshua Kolai in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. In the 46th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, G.R.'s 袁昂宁 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Vang, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. G.R.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guguh Saepuloh in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Yepes during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lorenzo Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gibor Smolkin sent off a good shot on target. After 66 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Ferrant. G.R.'s Snir Nachum was substituted for Gibor Smolkin. In the 66th minute, Valentino Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, G.R.'s Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jamar Vang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliya Tabachnik. 81 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Matheus Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guguh Saepuloh in the 85th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. When the match was over G.R. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
