Eliseo Noboa scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Ciano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Juan Rubio lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Errolan. If Domingo Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Hernando came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 37th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Isidro Sasoin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Sasoin was the one to do the kick off. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Asesinos Por Naturaleza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Sasoin during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Isidro Sasoin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Lino Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Bruno Errolan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Isidro Sasoin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Isidro Sasoin made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alvaro Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th play minute Axel Tasis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lino Ciano. 3-3. Lino Ciano came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig. But to his dismay, Lautaro Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Sasoin in the 87th minute of the match. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's Lino Ciano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Asesinos Por Naturaleza from getting a goal against them.
