Gigih Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tracto's Gigih Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gigih Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. Gigih Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tracto were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Okan Kongur took the corner. Tracto's Okan Kongur was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 19th minute of the game Luis Andino made a throw-in which Cristian Sancho played forward. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Okan Kongur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Okan Kongur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Okan Kongur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, Okan Kongur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Gigih Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Kongur in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Donato Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gigih Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the match, Tracto's Okan Kongur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Okan Kongur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Tracto's Gigih Buffon. Gigih Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Kongur came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Corrado Pinti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Okan Kongur's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Kongur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Okan Kongur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The Tracto players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
