Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amado Sindo got the match started through his kick off. Tiran Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 3rd minute of the match. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 4th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benvide Ponte went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The Gimnasia LP fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Gimnasia LP's Benvide Ponte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Gimnasia LP's Amado Sindo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiran Piedra. Tiran Piedra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Tiran Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mexico booed when Gimnasia LP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Amado Sindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hansmorten Adelsbro's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hansmorten Adelsbro helped the player get up and apologised. 38 minutes into the game, one of Gimnasia LP:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tiran Piedra. 2-2. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia LP's 曾宽云 got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Gimnasia LP's goalkeeper Tiran Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Melquiades Hondo:s penalty. In the 62nd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiran Piedra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 63rd minute, Melquiades Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gimnasia LP's Tiran Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Tiran Piedra in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th match minute, Gimnasia LP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Costa to maneuver through the defense. Gimnasia LP made a substitution. Angelino Urdin replaced William Costa. In the 75th minute, William Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Sindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Gimnasia LP got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melquiades Hondo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Hondo in the 90th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
