Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Norberto Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Densill 杨天剑 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gianluca Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Pagliuca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Deportivo Kadorna booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Long Jing Liang fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Kadorna's protests and gave Long Jing Liang a yellow card for diving instead. Long Jing Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Pagliuca having to interfere. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Densill 杨天剑 in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Tiadoro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Deportivo Kadorna got a freekick which was hit by Long Jing Liang. 58 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gianluca Pagliuca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Tome in the 61st minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Bastiaro's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Bastiaro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Deportivo Kadorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Bastiaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Deportivo Kadorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Bastiaro to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Deportivo Kadorna getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angel Belmiro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluca Pagliuca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Densill 杨天剑 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Deportivo Kadorna's Carl Beck to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 85 minutes, Carl Beck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Kadorna and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Carl Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Melchor Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Deportivo Kadorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Black Gamboa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Deportivo Kadorna's Gianluca Pagliuca got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Kadorna.
