In the 26thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Onur-Recep Kıvrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedykt Lanczak might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdi Eriş charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedykt Lanczak made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Luz Tejedor could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Onur-Recep Kıvrak however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute, Deng Jie Wei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 90th minute, Behzat Tanyeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Alessio Romagnoli's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessio Romagnoli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Alessio Romagnoli got a free kick in the 94th minute. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target.
