The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zebastian Soned made the kick off which started today's match. Constantin Ciolacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of play. Valeriu Enache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Ciolacu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Constantin Ciolacu quite easily take care of the ball. Constantin Ciolacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Paris Saint-Germain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Constantin Ciolacu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Zebastian Soned had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ciolacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valeriu Enache was slow to take the kick. During this time Paris Saint-Germain's players had a chance to rest. Constantin Ciolacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Zebastian Soned managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Soned was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Constantin Ciolacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zebastian Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Ciolacu having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Ciolacu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantin Ciolacu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Karin Junior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paris Saint-Germain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to Paris Saint-Germain getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Karin Junior hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Paris Saint-Germain's Constantin Ciolacu didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Soned in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Ciolacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ciolacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Grigore Ponor got a free kick in the 44th minute. Paris Saint-Germain's Constantin Ciolacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 52 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Constantin Ciolacu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Constantin Ciolacu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Constantin Ciolacu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Valeriu Enache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Constantin Ciolacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute of play. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Zebastian Soned came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Paris Saint-Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Soned couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Enache in the 69th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Ciolacu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Soned in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantin Ciolacu was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Constantin Ciolacu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Viktoras Siozos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Ciolacu. Constantin Ciolacu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Valeriu Enache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Soned in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint-Germain's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Ciolacu came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valeriu Enache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Enache, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. George Rareș kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Paris Saint-Germain supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
