Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viriato lacerda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Valeriu Enache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Valeriu Enache succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 24th playminute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Rareș in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Viriato lacerda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Viriato lacerda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 40th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Viriato lacerda sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Valeriu Enache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Enache in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zebastian Soned stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Soned in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Zebastian Soned made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zebastian Soned was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Paris Saint-Germain booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paris Saint-Germain fully deserved thier win.
