Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Pretoria Gostyń's Tomás Clodio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sylwester Chazon was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylwester Chazon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Beniamin Makarewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Komornicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Pretoria Gostyń were awarded a corner. Lionel-Andrés Messi went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Tomás Clodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Tomás Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Tomás Clodio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Pretoria Gostyń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. Pretoria Gostyń's Bartlomiej Matela was substituted for Beniamin Makarewicz. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tomás Clodio scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pretoria Gostyń fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Tomás Clodio sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Lionel-Andrés Messi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Lionel-Andrés Messi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Sylwester Chazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After 65 played minutes Pretoria Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Kuszczak. A sloppy throw-in by Maciej Karanowski in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Chazon having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Tomás Clodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Lionel-Andrés Messi scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-7. 78 minutes into the game, Lukasz Rekawiczka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pretoria Gostyń were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
