Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Knights FC. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliot Mercado's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Mercado in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Rado in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Di Rado in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The supporters of Black Knights FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Elliot Mercado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliot Mercado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Stacy Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Stacy Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Elliot Mercado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Arturo Di Rado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Mercado in the 46th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Elliot Mercado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Knights FC's Lincoln Downey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Tyrone Wolff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. A collision led to Black Knights FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Wasyl Wawro hit a great ball. Rodrigo Caracedo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Black Knights FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
