Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vilhena in the 23rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vilhena in the 24th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Vilhena in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, José Vilhena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Vilhena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Fahrettin Kirtekin scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-6. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jindřich Benc fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jindřich Benc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Guo Yu Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guo Yu Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Vilhena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Jindřich Benc scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-7. After 72nd play minutes José Vilhena shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vilhena in the 76th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's Alajos Belliger. But to his dismay, Alajos Belliger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vilhena in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, José Vilhena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. José Vilhena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
