Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paw Nibelvang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Nibelvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Teddi Suutari could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Teddi Suutari's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Michel Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Quintero came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paw Nibelvang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teddi Suutari made a kick off. In the 58th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Nibelvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, André Bjørnstjerne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Quintero in the 65th minute of the match. Vatan Nass hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gamla Stan's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paw Nibelvang came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, FC Gamla Stan's goalkeeper Paw Nibelvang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Gamla Stan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Lautaro Mancebo to score against Paw Nibelvang in FC Gamla Stan's goal. 0-5 after 74 minutes.
