In the 2nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Owen to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Messias in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, José Augusto Messias made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Marcus Duarte charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Duarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Curacao booed when ViraLataCaramelo U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Messias in the 16th minute of play. After 42 played minutes, ViraLataCaramelo U18's Iuri Vidal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ViraLataCaramelo U18 reached it. Lochlan Newman charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lochlan Newman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lochlan Newman hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lochlan Newman to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. If Edmílson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Messias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Bruno Barrett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as ViraLataCaramelo U18's Simão Severo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-2 after 58 minutes of play. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Augusto Messias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by José Augusto Messias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 77th minute, Simão Severo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as ViraLataCaramelo U18's José Augusto Messias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-3 after 80 minutes of play. The nice shot from José Augusto Messias in the 85thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bruno Barrett had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Simão Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Messias. ViraLataCaramelo U18 played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
