Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Magno Aparecido kicked off to start the match. Minho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zeferino Diegues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Zeferino Diegues. Minho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Minho FC's Zeferino Diegues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. The throw-in from Rowan Dobson in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Eliseo Mina scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeferino Diegues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeferino Diegues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Rowan Dobson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After having played for 52 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeferino Diegues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Eliseo Mina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Zeferino Diegues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Minho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Zeferino Diegues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minho FC made a substitution. Aldo Santana replaced Cláudio Santiago. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 91st minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. After 95 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Gago. Peru walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
