The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uudo Lant was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Riivo Äetma hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Grimório players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Riivo Äetma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimório and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Riivo Äetma kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Uudo Lant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkki Leesment in the 81st minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erkki Leesment in the 84th minute of play. There was no doubt that Grimório were the better team. Grimório's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
