After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Herbert Walczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Perkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Lichorobiec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 36th minute, Shaolin soccer's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play forced Shaolin soccer's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Shaolin soccer were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Herbert Walczyk made the kick off in the second half. Shaolin soccer's Wlodzimierz Osielski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 51st minute of play. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wlodzimierz Osielski. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Wlodzimierz Osielski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Shaolin soccer's Lucjan Siekierski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 74th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Walczyk in the 75th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Wlodzimierz Osielski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wlodzimierz Osielski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 91 minutes into the match, Shaolin soccer's Miromir Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wlodzimierz Osielski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
