Renan Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Renan Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Edmund Walaszkiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's Renan Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Labus in the 30th minute of the match. KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wlodzimierz Rosiewicz took the corner. After taking down the ball on KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's corner Przemyslaw Karbowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute Miromir Murdza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Jan Pawelczyk sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT's Damian Zajac was substituted for Wlodzimierz Rosiewicz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renan Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to KS ROTAVIA NIEPORĘT getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Edmund Walaszkiewicz hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renan Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Murdza came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Renan Salgado. The goal made the score 2-1. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. With his leg Renan Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With 95 minutes on the clock, Rigoberto Mina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 95th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela.
