Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Abram Sarmiento made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Sarmiento got free with Paul Heyckendorf in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th minute Alex Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Mansilha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Mansilha came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Kretschmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Mansilha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Lutz Golke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lutz Golke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Paul Heyckendorf threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santino Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Simon Beuke, made in the 31st minute of the game. Paul Heyckendorf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Heyckendorf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lutz Golke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Santino Seco took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Heyckendorf. Paul Heyckendorf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute of the match, Maxime Vrints tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Heyckendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Roberto Seppmann replaced Reinhard Baum. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Heyckendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Paul Heyckendorf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Abram Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Secada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Academica Pulheim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Academica Pulheim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
