In the 44th minute Jacob May shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Lanczak to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 51st minute of play. After 55 minutes, Monty Rogers made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Onur-Recep Kıvrak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob May in the 58th minute. Monty Rogers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. 69 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Monty Rogers in the 75th minute. USA's Jenson Smith was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sam Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur-Recep Kıvrak having to interfere. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Onur-Recep Kıvrak however easily saved by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Jacob May in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Hamdi Baran. Deng Jie Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deng Jie Wei in the 89th minute of play. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Sam Campbell sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's zone, Sam Campbell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onur-Recep Kıvrak came out of the goal and Sam Campbell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
