The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Cleiton do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleiton do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Yuri Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s protests and gave Yuri Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Conrado Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finlay Stair. Geroy Ascue hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Patrick Zanette hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jarell Hill fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Finlay Stair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Conrado Arantes got control of the ball when Jarell Hill tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Jarell Hill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Jamaica booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Finlay Stair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Finlay Stair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simão Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Simão Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleiton do Vale to make the kick off. The supporters of C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayan Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Cleiton do Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarell Hill in the 67th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Conrado Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleiton do Vale in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. In the 80th minute, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Simão Gaúcho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Cleiton do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Demonde Jacobson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jamaica's Finlay Stair got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jamaica players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
