The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Endang Arnawa put in a rough tackle. When Karlus Waugh fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Karlus Waugh a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Karlus Waugh. In the 23rd minute, Charles Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Karlus Waugh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Kordal Duff. With an all-out effort, Jamaica's Conrado Arantes threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Finlay Stair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton do Vale in the 35th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Simão Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarell Hill got free with Conrado Arantes in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Jamaica booed when C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Conrado Arantes got control of the ball when Finlay Stair tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finlay Stair to make the kick off. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleiton do Vale in the 56th minute. Finlay Stair kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cleiton do Vale took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some careless play in the C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. defense, Jarell Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Arantes. The C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Arantes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leron Sale in the 69th minute of play forced C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s goalkeeper Conrado Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamaica's Leron Sale managed to work through C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Leron Sale dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Conrado Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romon Oliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleiton do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Cleiton do Vale scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 2-4. Conrado Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlus Waugh in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Jefferson Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Finlay Stair ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Cleiton do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. Romon Oliver charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
