After some careless play in the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ defense, Carter George kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Onur-Recep Kıvrak should have stopped the shot. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 60th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Carter George came free, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 94th minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-3.
