After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ufuk Rasih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Lion FC's Ufuk Rasih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 52nd minute of play. The corner led Honduras's Christian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Ufuk Rasih despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 55th minute, Feyzullay Sağanalp made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 63rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ufuk Rasih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lion FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
