Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fortunato Schumacher in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fortunato Schumacher in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walter Friebe got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mark Elzer. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Mark Elzer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Décio Garcia made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Schumacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Fortunato Schumacher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Fortunato Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fortunato Schumacher's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
